George Constantinou worked in Take-Away business for 40 years from the age of 17.
30 years of his father’s experience was instilled as part of his work ethic; as a result since the introduction of star ratings by Environmental Health and Safety all his businesses have acquired a five star food and hygiene rating.
The current Environmental Health diary used now on the website was created by integrating three modules/diaries for which George was an integral part as a trialist from his Warrington shop in producing the resulting diary. Although not qualified as an Environmental Health Officer all the tips, advice and suggestions offered have been tried and tested methods in compliance with the Environmental Health Legislation.
Successful business include: East Yorkshire – Hull, Chorley – Lancashire, Prescot – Merseyside, Warrington – Cheshire, Quinton – Birmingham, Wolverhampton – West Midlands, Bridge North – Shropshire, Shrewsbury – Shropshire, Telford – Shropshire, Matlock – Bath, Derby – Derbyshire.
Although these areas are wide and varied in both communities and personal food eating habits and tastes, the common factor for creating a successful shop is good food, good service and the most important of all connection with the community by the business/shop owner.
Hereditary eye condition which has resulted in the loss of his central vision has meant George retiring from business at the age of 58. His interest in the Environmental Health Compliance in the running of fast food takeaways in the working environment of the shop, has resulted in the creation of this website to assist and recommend easier ways to comply with legislation, and to run the business at the same time.
